about

Taylor Flaherty, aka Chord Cutter, is an EDM Producer and DJ from Seattle, WA.

His story began in 2013 when, after years of playing Dance Dance Revolution in arcades with his friends, he saw a Youtube video showing how easy it was to make your own music and upload it to the game. He downloaded a free trial of FL Studio and after a few hours he was hooked. Inspired by artists like Skrillex, RL Grime, and Headhunterz, he began making beats and uploading them to the Internet.

Since then he has pioneered a unique sample-heavy sound combining hip-hop, bass music, and hard dance. Releasing on labels like Trap City, DIE FOR ME, and Speed World Records, he continues to explore new combinations of genres and sounds.
